Last month I tried to get my ISP to upgrade me from ADSL to ADSL2+. Six days ago I was disconnected from ADSL (via one phone company, Telstra). Today my ISP rang and said the other, allegedly cheaper, phone company, Optus, had connected me to ADSL1, but that it did not work. Gee, thanx. So tonight at 8pm the ISP will ring and help me reconfigure my ADSL modem. Talk about progress! Well, I would if I ever encountered it..
